art001m1013251756 (Nov. 21, 2022) The Moon is seen below Orion on flight day 6 of the 25.5-day Artemis I mission. On this day, Orion completed the outbound powered flyby, passing just 81 miles above the Moon.
The Orion Environmental Test Article (the Orion spacecraft flown during Artemis I) arrived at NASA Glenn’s Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio on January 09, 2024 for post-mission testing.
