We use the cameras in "Dashcam mode" so that once power is applied to the camera, it automatically starts recording. This allows us to have the camera mounted ahead of time and just turn on the power to launch. We also set the recording to be a fixed 5 minute video file to ensure if something happens to the camera, we still retain most of the footage.
