At 6:05 a.m. EDT, the hatch closed between the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and the International Space Station, marking the start of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-12 return operations.

The spacecraft will autonomously undock from the orbiting laboratory at about 8:05 a.m. to begin its journey back to Earth. NASA’s undocking coverage begins streaming at 7:45 a.m. across multiple platforms. Learn where to watch online:

After undocking coverage concludes, NASA will distribute audio-only discussions between Crew-12, the space station, and flight controllers during Dragon’s transit away from the orbital complex.
