NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 crew members are on their way to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to prepare for launch to the International Space Station.
NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov took off in T-38s from Ellington Field near the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston this morning and are expected to land around 1 p.m. EDT at NASA Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility.
Upon landing, Crew-13 will be greeted on the runway by representatives from NASA Kennedy and the agency’s Low Earth Orbit Program, before speaking briefly with on-site media. Watch live coverage of the crew arrival media event on NASA Kennedy’s YouTube channel.
After remarks, the crew will go to the Astronaut Crew Quarters inside Kennedy’s Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building, where they will continue to quarantine and complete prelaunch preparations.
Crew-13 will lift off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket no earlier than 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
